Teriyaki Beef Tips

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 Tablespoons molasses
  • 2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 2 teaspoons dry mustard
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-3 pounds beef tips (I used one pound)


Prepare the beef tips by removing any silver skin that may be attached. Set aside.

In a 2 cup measuring cup combine the soy sauce, oil, molasses, ginger, dry mustard, minced garlic. Mix well.

Place the beef tips in a glass or ceramic pan. Pour the marinade over the beef. Cover and refrigerate for a minimum of one hour, or up to overnight. You'll want to turn the meat periodically to make sure the marinade is absorbed by all sides of the meat.

Cook on a hot grill until desired level of doneness.
