Hot Fudge Sauce

3/4 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup Hershey’s cocoa powder

2/3 cup evaporated milk

1/3 cup light corn syrup

1/3 cup unsalted butter

1 teaspoon vanilla

Combine the sugar, cocoa powder, evaporated milk and corn syrup together in saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture begins to boil. You really need to stir vigorously to combine the cocoa powder into the rest of the ingredients.

Boil for 5 minutes to thicken. Make sure you begin timing from a good rolling boil and not the first few bubbles you see.

Remove from heat and stir in the butter and vanilla.

Simply reheat in microwave and then pour over ice cream.
