Strange Storms/Geological Phenomenon Table:

The GM may determine some areas immune to strange storms or the area is immune to certain types of storm effects. Assume most long standing landmark features, citadels and villages are built in such areas, which would explains some the odd location choices. The locals knew which areas were safer.

Storm/Geological Effect:

xx) Shard of strange stone erupt from the ground randomly. There is a 1 in 20 chance of a character getting injured for 3D6 damage and thrown 1D4x10 feet. Lasts for 2D4 melee rounds. There is a 30% chance of a valuable mineral/element being revealed, valued at 3D4x10 gp in trade to the right individuals.

xx) Small cinder cones erupt from ground spewing forth boiling hot mud. There is a 1 in 10 chance of character getting hit for 4D6 damage each melee round. Reflex save for half damage. Last for 3D4 melee rounds.

xx) Flash flood! Water erupts from the ground, flooding the area, gaining 1 foot depth of water per melee round and dropping a foot depth each melee round afterwards. Those caught must make Reflex save or be carried away by the currents. Last for 4D6 melee rounds.

xx) Dust or Sand Storm.

xx) Rains slimy things: This could be fish, amphibians, worms, etc... mixed with some odd colored and tainted rain water. Those caught in the area of affect take 1D4 damage per round. Half damage with successful Reflex saves. This storm last for 3D6 melee rounds

Supernatural or Sorcerous Storm Table:

xx) Raining Fetuses: The partially formed fetuses of 2D4 different races of Carcosan humans begin raining over a 1D4 sub-hex area for 1D4 minutes.

xx) Raining God Larvae: Stellar Larvae of the Outer Gods rain down over a 1D4 sub-hex area for 1D4 minutes.

xx) It's Raining Men! (& Women): The population of an entire village (Roll 1D8x50+1D100) of Carcosan Humans rains down over a 1D4 sub-hex area over the next 1D4 minutes. Every minute of the raining bodies, have the characters make a Reflex check three times. Any failed check results in a body hitting them for 3D6 damage. None of the bodies have anything of value on them and have been drained of all bodily fluids as well as having major organs harvested. Though on the bright side they are potential spell component source for Sorcerers!
