Random Landscape Feature Chart:
) Obsidian Shards: an average of 1D6 x 10 feet in height can be found rising from the ground every 50-100 feet from each other in this sub-hex.
) Oily Pools: an average of 1D4 x 10 feet wide can be found spread about roughly 50-100 feet apart from each other in this sub-hex. It is flammable and can be used to coat torches, fuel lamps/lanterns.
) Acid Pools: an average of 1D4 x 10 feet wide can be found spread about roughly 50-100 feet apart from each other in this sub-hex. Being submerged in the pool will cause 6D6 damage per melee round. The fumes from the area will be toxic and cause 1D4 hit points damage to anyone trying to breath within the area per minute. Even heavy face wraps will require a Fortitude save each round to avoid taking damage. Vision will be impaired due to the stinging of the acidic air and all vision related action, including attacks will be at -3 while in the area. (Space suits, alien gas maskes, etc will offer protection.) It would be best to avoid this sub-hex.

Type is randomly determined by the GM. This also requires the characters make a Lore (Minerals) check at difficulty 20 to discover. (Only one chance per character.)
) Small Cinder Cones: of an average height of 1D6 x 5 feet (Like those in the movie Caveman) can be found rising from the ground every 50-100 feet from each other in this sub-hex.
