Casting Time: 1 action if Sorcerer is less than 3rd level. Instant at 3rd level and higher.

Casting Delay: Once per hour, minus 10 minutes per three full levels of the caster.

Arcane Difficulty Rating: 12+

Range: Caster level x 10 foot range for center of effect.

Area of Effect: 5' radius plus five more feet for every levels of the caster.

Duration: 1D4+1 melee rounds plus one one more for every three full levels of caster.

Saving Throw: Will, -1 for every three full levels of the caster.

Components: verbal, gesture and physical (Tongue of an Ulfire Man or Woman)

Optional Component: Fynog Gland [Component] (Found in Mist Devourers): +5 to cast spell, plus one additional target, -1 to target saves, eliminates Casting Corruption chance and penalties inflicted on targets are at another -1.

Optional Foci: Ulzari Crystal [Foci] found in caves of some of the Pojamar Mountains of Hex 1903. The Mountains of Azapox, Hezath, Kutila, Mektas in particular have higher quantities. Lowers casting difficulty by three and adds 150% to Range/Effect.

difficulty in casting lowered by three and range, effect, duration increased by 150%.

Notes:

* Casting Difficulty goes down by five points if cast within the Labyrinth of Ur-Hazag.

If cast within the walls of Castle Scream Wall:

1) Difficulty goes down another five points.

2) Casting Corruption from miscast will not occur, except in the case of Critical Fumble, see #3 below.

3) Critical Fumble will have the effect of a normal Casting Corruptions at absolute minimum roll able side effects instead of usual listed results.

4) Range, Effect andDuration increased by 150%.

Description:

This spell was created by the ancient Sorcerer Ur-Hazag, who the Labyrinth of Ur-Hazag in Hex 2004 is named. It requires verbal, gesture and a small pouch of dust taken from the canyon floor far below Castle Scream Wall in the Sub-Hex 2219 of Hex 2004. A single target of this spell must be within 10 feet per level of the caster and fail a WILL

save. The pouch of dust is flung towards the target with a quick chant and gesture of blowing winds. The target will be enveloped in a whirlwind of dust and sands. If the target is of equal or less HD/level than the caster, he/she is also pulled into the air and spun about, preventing them from moving on their own, unless they have flight/levitation abilities. Such targets are at -2 to hit and Reflex saves (with additional -1 for every three full levels of the caster.) In either case, the target also takes 1D4 damage per level of the caster each action. Each following action the target can attempt another WILL save to break free of the effects. If successful, they do lose one action/attack as they will need to regain footing/direction from spinning, if they were pulled into the air by the whirlwind that is, otherwise ignore this penalty. Any living target who is killed by this spell will become one of the screaming faces in walls of Castle Scream Wall, his/her soul damned to wail for eternity.
