Description:
This spell calls forth Ravenous Worms that curle forth the soil itself into a roughly egg shaped mass. Once formed, this earthen mass of hungry
worms can be commanded to roll forth and consume a target. For every three full levels of the Sorcerer, another Rolling Ovoid can be formed and
commanded. The ovoids hit with a standard strike roll with a +1 bonus per three full levels of the caster. (It will keep going after the same
target if missed the following action, unless redirected by the Sorcerer.) If target is hit, they must make a Reflex save or be enveloped by
the ovoid and immobilized while the Ravenous Worms feed. The Ovoid grows due to the absorbed individual. After a target has been enveloped it
can be directed to envelope another target. Those enveloped take 1D6 damage per level of the caster from the worms per round. Armor of course
limits some of the damage. Only full environmental sealed space alien armor will make a target immune to damage. Or if the target is a robot or
otherwise non flesh. Creatures that are primarily Exoskeleton (or mostly skeletal, such as Gaunt Men) will take 1/2 damage. (after the armor
reduction)
Please note that this spell will not function in areas that are pure stone, water, etc... There must be soil, sand or mud available. Near a
river, lake shore or swamp would be ideal. The Ravenous Worms themselves are brought into being via the Sorcery itself, but unless killed will
burrow into any available soil afterwards. If spell is cast in such locations in the future, lower the casting penalty by five. (Unless a
previous cast was a critical success, lower casting penalty by ten. If critical fumble in location, increase casting penalty by ten for that
location)
