Casting Time: 3 actions, minus one per three full levels of the caster.

Arcane Difficulty Rating: 10+ (Keep track of your roll success amount, is relevant for determining further effects on tables below.)

Range: 5' radius per level of the caster.

Area of Effect: 5' radius per level of the caster. One target's currently held weapon(s) within the area of effect, plus one more target for every three full levels of the caster that is also within the area of effect.

Duration: 1D6 melee rounds plus one per level of the caster.

Saving Throw: Will, -1 for every level of the caster that exceeds the level/HD of the target.

Description:

Note: Natural weapon as mentioned below means claws, teeth, spikes, fist, kick etc... from attackers own body, not a weapon.

By use of this spell, the Sorcerer can for the duration, cause any non-natural weapon(s) currently employed in used against him/her to be damaged or shattered. This means currently held. Any readied shield, bow, sword, ray gun, etc... can be affected. Claws, teeth, hooves and horns however will not be affected by this spell.

Consult the chart below for weapons that have not already been defined with a QR (Quality Rating). The amount you succeed your Arcane Difficulty roll by determines how much damage you do to the item in question on the "Quality Chart" below. For every three full levels of your character, you may add a plus ten bonus to the amount your Arcane Difficulty roll exceeded the spell requirement to determine amount of damage inflicted on the weapon.

Corruption Chance: Roll failed by 5+

Cast Corruption: +1D8-1 Chaos Affiliation, +1D4-1 aging, save vs Fort or gain Sorcerous Affliction.

Critical Success:

Double the range, area of effect as well as number of targets that can be affected within that area of effect. All non-employed, but carried weapons on afflicted targets will be treated as being considered held by the spell. Weapons that ARE being actively used will be treated as if the Arcane rating (with level modifiers) on Quality Chart being TWENTY points higher. Creatures employing natural weapons against the caster within range must make a Fortitude check or be stunned for one action.
