Description:
The Drajynon (Dream Walker Shaman) is a manipulator of the Carcosan Dreamlands, an alchemist, healer & sage of his/her people. Some societies may confuse you with a Sorcerer & persecute you as such. Your manipulations of the dream realms has gifted you with a number of powers. (Specialized Psychic.)
You may also have limited crossover in cultural function with the Yajekai (Jester) or Cultist in some societies.
1) Can perform Formulae:
These are similar to spells/rituals, but are alchemical creations. Many are described in the 'Realms of Crawling Chaos' book. The DM should provide other Formulae that can be learned from other Artificers/Alchemists/Shamans or discovered in adventures. Unlike the Artificer, you CAN use the formulae otherwise restricted to Sorcerers, though you cannot use any specific to an Artificer, such as tech related projects.
-------------------------------------
2) Life Is But A Dream: (Difficulty: 18, Cost: 1 PP)
The Drajynon can make him/herself less real by somewhat shifting from the physical realm to the Carcosan Dreamlands by altering their conciousness. If successful, this last for one melee round, plus one per level. Effects are: +1 DRper level of the Drajynon. This bonus only applies while the Drajynon is in this state. Dream & other immaterial creatures can attack the Drajyon in this state, however he/she only gets benefit of half the DR bonus listed, as he/she is closer to their realm of influence. While in this state, the Drajyon also receive a +1 to all saving throws, +1 more for every three full levels of the Shaman. Though somewhat insubstatial, the Drajyon cannot move though solid object, only attacking objects somewhat pass though him/her. This can only be used once per combat session.
-------------------------------------
3) You Are Not Real: (Difficulty: 18, Cost: 2 PP)
The Drajyon can attempt to induce the effects of 'The Dream Phage' upon a living target. The target must be capable of sleeping & dreaming, or else this power fails. Target is allowed a Will save. If failed, he/she/it will be displaced into the Carcosan Dreamlands for 1D4 days. Each day, they can attempt another Will save to return to the location they left, otherwise at duration end, they eventually return, intact. This only affect targets that have equal or less HD/levels than the Shaman. You can affect one more target for every three full levels of the Shaman.
-------------------------------------
4) There Is No Pain You Are Receiving: (Difficulty: 18, Cost: 1 PP)
The Drajyon can attempt to pull the pain, injury &/or afflictions of the target into a dreamstate, convincing their body that there is no injury or affliction & quickly healing their body, as if days of rest had happened. This can only be attempted on a specific individual once per day, success or fail, but can attempt on other people with same limitation. If used successfully, you heal 1D6 points of damage &/or remove that amount of a poison or disease effectiveness, if applicable. Every three full levels of the Drajyon allows this to be increased by an additional 1D6 hit points.
-------------------------------------
5) Banishment of the Bad Dreams: (Difficulty: 18, Cost: 1 PP)
The Drajyon can attempt to banish a spirit, Dreamlands entity or something native to Dim Carcosa to the Dreamlands. The creature must have equal or less hit dice than the level of the Drajyon. For every three full levels of the Drajyon he/she can affect an additional target & they receive a minus one penalty to their Will saves to avoid the banishment. If the creature was not specificly native to the dreamlands it returns in 1D4 days. This power also closes open portals to the dreamlands. Permanent portals will re-open within 1D4 days.
-------------------------------------
6) Navigation of the Dream Realms:
(Ignore if character is a Gaunt Man and use the similar race ability.)
Similar to a spell from 'Realms of Crawling Chaos' & the ability of the Gaunt Men, The Drajyon has this as a class ability. He/she can easily navigate the streets of Dim Carcosa & unlikely to get lost in extra-dimensional non-Euclidian geometry places, such as Limbo or the Dreamlands. In the Dreamlands, the Shaman receives a +10 bonus to Dreamland navigation, +5 in Limbo or Dim-Carcosa.
-------------------------------------
7) Departure of Dim Carcosa: (Difficulty: 25, Cost: 5 PP, +2 PP per extra individual)
The Drajyon can attempt to free him/herself from the Chaotic Dream-like realm of Dim Carcosa by creating a dream-portal to the waking world. In this case it would be at the entrance to the City of Carcosa in the real world. If the roll was failed by only five points, it would open to one of the pocket realms of a Bleak Noble within the City of Carcosa. For every three full levels of the Drajyon, you can bring a companion with you though the portal.
