Duration: One melee round per level of the caster.

Saving Throw: Will, -1 for every level of the caster that exceeds the level/HD of the target.

Description:

This ritual allows the Sorcerer to afflict an area with a curse that causes those within the radius of effect to have to resort to cannibalism to sustain themselves. This curse causes the bodies of those so afflicted to not gain proper nourishment from their usual diet.

Disability: Cannibalistic Survival:

Those afflicted with this disability can only sustain themselves on the flesh of sentient humanoids with the absolute minimum

requirement of feasting upon their own specific race's flesh at least once a week.

Those affected also gain the Insanity: Cannibalistic Urges (See Below) at 2D4.

The insanity listed below is in addition to effects above. Characters who gained the below listed insanity DO NOT have the same

nutritional requirements and other effects listed in this Ritual description.

Corruption Chance: Roll failed by 5+

Cast Corruption: +1D8-1 Chaos Affiliation, +1D4-1 aging, save vs Fort or gain Sorcerous Affliction.

Insanity: Cannibalistic Urges: (REFERENCE: Malediction of the Cannibalistic Desideratum [Ritual] )

You feel the need to consume humanoid flesh, your own particular race is preferred. It does not have to be fresh and a stockpile of

preserved flesh of the appropriate type will satiate your urges. Any day you do not have your needs met, you must make an easy

difficulty (5+) check to avoid hunting down an easy target to feast upon. If this check fails, you do gain an increase in this insanity

by the amount you failed your check by however do not lose SAN. In addition if this check failed, you must make a Will save when

presented with an easy kill of a sentient humanoid target, with double any applied Will save penalties for targets who are of your

specific race. Each day of no satiation of your cannibalistic urges causes this difficulty level increases by one and any Will saves

to resist your urges increase by one.
