Description:
This ritual affects large groups of hostiles.
Physical component, Sands from the Plateau of Leng where the bones of the Elder Gods lay.
This ritual is used to disrupt the aggressiveness of large groups. For every three individuals
in the unified gang, pack, army, etc... that is within the area of effect will make a Will
save at -1. If failed, they will feel begin to feel docile and any attempt to attack others
will be at a penalty of one which will be cumulative with each following melee round for the
duration. Targets can still defend themselves without penalty, though will feel the need to
disperse from the pack, knowing they are being afflicted by some sort of Sorcery.
Critical Success:
Double range, area of effect, duration, save and attack penalties. Targets must also make a
fortitude check each melee or fall unconcious for the duration of the spell.
Critical Fumble:
Same modifiers for a critical success, except the attack penalties are bonuses to strike the
caster and instead of falling unconcious or being driven from the pack, the spell draws the
angry mob to focused violent rage against the Sorcerer. There is also a 75% chance (minus 5%
per level of the caster) that 1D20 various hostiles within 1D4 sub-hexes in all directions
will feel compelled to seek out and kill the caster, a hateful image of him/her burning in
their mind's eye. These additional hostiles will seek out the character for 1D4 days, driven
by an instictive navigation in the direction of the character.
