Match Report v Royal Oak

Could we pick up from our loss last week to the crayford social..

The quick answer is no!

CP up first as normal. He was slowly losing control of the table to Mike from Oak. Mike went for the dish pulling off some lovely long shots to get down to a simple black to the middle. And he shocked everyone by missing it!

A snooker later and CP had won a game he didn't look like he could.

Mop had similiar experience. He looked in control of the table. An unlucky snooker swapped it over so Phil had control and went for game. Another missed black to the middle let Mop in for a simple clearence..

2-0

But Wobbly failed his simple dish to beat Mark Hill, letting Mark come back and clear well.

Marster blaster missed a simple red which would of been game. John from Oak then produced an excellent dish to win.

The Rat had a simple first chance to beat Paul C but threw it away. And OSW didnt want to pot the black in the last frame and let JK in to pot it.

Mistakes galore. Mainly by our team.. Some of the misses were unbeliveable!

The random dice doubles. Threw together Mop and OSW. OSW had a good'ish chance to win. but missed position on last colour and a snooker later Paul C cleared well.

Rat/Blaster did manage to win a game which was a shock as we had just lost 5 in a row up to that point!!

And CP/Wobbly didnt have much chance in the last.

Result: 3:6 loss. Mop/CP managed to play well, but no one else did! A deserved loss due to so many missed "easy chances" going begging. You cant expect to win like that!
