Match Report v Railway A

Post date: Oct 22, 2014 3:33:04 PM

A few new faces appeared for Railway A. Some from Railway B good to see teams mixing

New quote from Random snooker bloke at bar to Captain Pinkie

"You smell nice "

to which pinkie thought he might of pulled. But i'm afraid not.

On to the night of pool. Normal drunkenness behaviour ensued.

The "into pint game" started by Pinkie last week continued. 1st strike was by Pinkie last week by dropping the pound for the jukebox into Mop's Guinness.

Retaliation strike this week by Mop of adding spare red ball to Pinkie 1664 while he was holding it. Which then escalated to a mop Sandwich pint at the end of the night. Mop to move next in this game...

As to Pool. Pinkie first strike in league match with a well taken finish.

Sherwood broke his duck with his first win of the season. Still not the free potting player we know but started to put a few breaks together

Mop up next and bagged the most boring game title (ppl are not shocked at this). Mop had control of game but balls were all tucked up. A few snookers at the end but both players were escaped well. A chinese snooker on black led to a foul by Rolo and mop win. keeping up his win streak. *just!

Proper Kev played like he owned the table. (which he does!) and took out a good finish

OSW up 5th as Rat wasn't playing. OSW put the 5th win on the board.

Sherwood got picked again to play and looked a little more confident and pounced on the mistakes being made by Railway.

6-0 to erith. Wasn't quality pool by Master8ers but Railway were making too mistakes.

1st and last doubles went to Railway to make the score more respectable for them.

Result: another 7:2 win puts some more points on the board and hopefully continues the upwards movement on the league table. Up next tough away game (Village Inn)
