Match report v Yacht (home)

Another uninspiring match by the master8ers.

More shocking was top performers for this season Mop and CP lost the first 2. CP lost to a very good clearence by Gary fromYacht. And mop lost to normal old rules format. Going for game, missing last ball, snookered and opponent clearing with 2.

All Singles afterwards were very poor format to be fair! So many mistakes and missed chances i could fill up 4 pages worth of reporting.. Somehow it ended 3-3

Doubles and Gary shined again with a lovely break n dish. The break opened up nice and he chose reds and he took them out well. The next 2 frames were long drawn out affairs. we drew level at 4-4.

Then the long last frame and it looked like we would sneak a vistory when Wobbly had 2 shots with one red on table and black near pocket. But a in-off off the black ball he wasnt aiming for put paid to the night for master8ers.

Result: 4:5 loss. Leaves us mid table and doesnt really help yacht in title race. All need to improve apart from Gary!
