Match Report v Railway A

Post date: Mar 30, 2011 5:15:04 PM

A short complement this week, but hopefully we could still do the business.

Captain Power leading from the front as usual took the spoils in an up & down game that probably could have gone either way.

Next up, Little Man & a very good clearance to make it 2-0.

Wobbly could have 7 balled his opponent, but slipped up with position and it looked like it could be a filth-fest. But his opponent didn't take advantage of his opportunity and he duely potted the black to take a 3-0 lead.

Trouble maker up now - perhaps his reputation preceded him as his opponent conceded defeat - 4-0.

Postie next, could he make up for his terrible performance at the Oak?

A steady game played to take the win 5-0.

Much to his disgust he got picked as our 'worst' player and entered the arena of play again. Not so good this time, our first loss of the night, 5-1.

At this point Maureen's sausage usually makes an appearance, but alas, not tonight.

On to the doubles, Paul & Glen up first take the win, 6-1.

Keith and Ryan up next, poor old Keith - he started so well!! 6-2

At this point, one of their players has to leave with contact lense problems - apparently he was spotted trying to chat up Maureen :)

So, we pick one of theirs and they pick Wobbly to partner Cpt. Power.

The game goes to and fro until CP is left with a 5-ball clearance for the frame, he only manages one red and screws the white into the corner, what a w**ker!

See, to whom it may concern, we can mock ourselves as well!!!

The night finishes 6-3 and an angry Wobbly leaves to pay his speeding fine (and 3 points) which he got because he drove to the snooker club a different way, since MWCM didn't need picking up.
