Wobbly/Rocket were playing at Running Horses. They got a bye in the first set of matches as i think their opponents Crayfords Antony had tickets to Spurs v Real

Mick/Simon were in the Semi after they beat Village inn pairing.

So a semi final of Mick/Simon v Wobbly/Rocket.

Our team started well with a well taken first frame, but after that they could not find the winning shots to clinch the frames. They went down 2-1 but were proud of their acheivments but were ruing some missed chances..

Mop/Power Pinkie played the Oak Johns. And my god was it a fudge feast! Covered pockets, snookers, tucked up blacks the full works. The three doubles frames lasted almost 2 hours!

Oak took the first frame, and looked on course to take the second, after some good potting at the end by JK. But he got down to an ok black to the middle which he caught too fine and knuckled it, leaving Pinkie to pot a good black to even it up.

Third frame looked open! but quickly pockets were covered and the game went the same route. Several missed clearences by both teams later, Mop/CP fell exhausted over the finishing line. How they won it is still a mystery. They should of been dead and buried many times!

Mop/Pinkie played Village Inn pairing Dave and John after they dispatched Railway boys pairings in about 10 mins on the other table!

Village Inn came out firing. Balls were being potted all over the place, but they could not get the total clearence. Mop/Pinkie still had their fudging hats on from the previous pool marathon. So a few snookers later and to be fair some luck (John was unlucky to pot one of our colours in attempted clearnce & a mis-calculated shot from CP finished out better then he could of hoped for)) Let Mop/Pinkie win 2-0. They were out potted, but they realised they were not playing well and just played the percentages! It was not pretty!

Result: How Mop/Pinikie got through to final is shocking! But they now have time to regroup and get some sleep. They wil be playing Mick and Simon on the 14th June
