Match Report v new eltham

A home game again, this time v the New Eltham boys.

Much needed points were required to keep in the title race

A bad start from Captain Power after he failed to take the first game, even with a few oppurtunitys that were given to him. But this was the only mistake from the master8s as the rest of the set was neatly wrapped up with a 4-1 win

A small delay happened while: line of sight movement, coaching, what ppl are allowed to do in the club was discussed between captains. After this was all cleared up the game continued, albeit a bit later and not so jovial.... time seemed to have been wasted for no reason.

Second set: Wobblys loss of form seemed to hit him again He chased the 8 ball round the table for an age. When he finally got it trapped in the jaws of the pocket with no where to go. His opponent Freddie said thank you very much and potted it for him! Set finished same scoreline 4-1 to master8'ers with moppy replacing el capitano

Master8rs had picked up some speed and balls were not being missed now. Last set was a comprehensive 5-0 with OSW, John and Rocket producing 3 out of 3's and moppy a 2 out of 2.

Result: 3:0 sets 13:2 frames. A good win was needed and got. Only full points will do from now with 2 games left. With the Oak off next week we need to bridge the gap to as close as possible for the last game of the season. As even points is decided on frames, every frame is vital too.
