Whose 0 is going to go night!

Table toppng clash for all three divisons in SLKPA. All three divsion the top 2 played each other all 6 unbeaten. 3 were goign to lose that zero in the loses column

Well the important clash in Tier 2 East was played at the White Hart.It was going to be a tough close match!

A captain perfromace led the way for the master8ers , with Captain Power taking the first frame. Wobbly went in-off the black in the second! But Marster Blaster and "Man who cant be Mentioned" (The super injunction may be lifted pending the court appeal). held their nerve in the first set to get to the magical 3 in the set. Ian Cruwys pulled of a nice first visit dish to beat OSW in the last frame

3-2 to Master8ers

Moppy entered the action in the second set after a late start! It turned tactical mainly as Mop missed about 5 half chances to win! A bit of controversy after a foul snooker, mop, opted for a picked up white, and then called another foul snooker and free ball was played. All was correct and moppy cleared

Wins for Captain Power again and a good final frame winner from OSW gave Master8ers another 3-2 set win in this tight contest

Captain Power started again. Ernie missed a black to the middle leaving CP a decent half chance. it went begging, Luckily he got another half chance, it went begging again! Repeat this a few more times and finally Ernie potted a long black to win!

Marster Blaster next, and he pulled off an excellent 7 ball dish v Ian. It was as fine clearence, Mop v Scott and Scott was not having the run of the balls. A couple of unlucky shots were his downfall, as Mop cleared up to make 2-1 up in last set.

We needed one more frame to take all the points! Alex v 'our own Ryan Giggs' next and Alex showed of his potting again and won his third of the night.

Last frame OSW didnt get into it, and Nela played well and picked up his first win to take the final point White Harts way.

Result: Master8ers kept their 0 in the loses column and picked up 3 points to go top. A good weeks of pool for the Master8ers. One game away from winning winter league in Ivor Thomas League and now top after 1/3 of the season in SLKPA. Time for a beer to celebrate.
