Match report v Railway home

I think it is officail.. this is our worse run in living memory..

Our second Tuesday loss this season, and 4th in a row including Thusday league games.

We seem to have lost our ability to finish games off.

It was a nice display of attacking pool on display, when a half chance was offered in any game the oppoenent went all guns blazing to the finishing line. World rules would suit the Railway team so well.

First game was a very much a seesaw battle between Captin Power and Kyle. CP looked to have it when he had 2 shots. But a failed cushion shot went safe and Kyle cleared the black to finish CP's 100% winning start to the season.

Mop lost the toss and it cost him dear when Billy potted off the break and cleared most of his balls up in his first visit. Billys 2nd visit he pulled off a nice break to finish the table off.

Rocket stopped the rot a little with a good win. John also lost his 100% winning start to the season too when he failed to produce the winning clearence after a couple of oppurtunities.

Wobbly and OSW didnt perform either and we had lost after singles! 1-5

We won 2 of the 3 doubles but the damage was done.

Result: 3-6 Loss. Railway Boys played well, but we have lost our winning edge/mentality. How quickly it can dissappear. Time to start looking for it and quickly... Have we checked under the sofa?
