Match report v Pickwick (Home)

If this was a Shakespeare play it would certainly be called The Comedy of Errors!

Mainly for our play but Pickwick decided to get in on the action too.

The tale of 2 pool teams stated with a couple of losses for Master8ers. Mop and CP losing to Dean and Alan from Pickwick. Allan picking off a good finish that deserved a celebratory smoke of a Hamlet afterwards...

The Winters Tale really starts with Gafa v John (King John). Both seemingly forgetting the rules of World rules throughout the frame. Paul Gafa managed to secure the win and first set 3-0

We shared the last 2 frames of the set with Marster blaster pulling off a good dish for his win.

Second set started with a win but went downhill fast. Soon we had lost the 2nd set and the match win bonus. As we were 8-2 down! Measure for Measure we probably deserved that score. Although 2 of the losses were black pots that we potted a colour as well which is unlucky

With Much Ado About Nothing. We pulled up our spirits and attacked the 3rd set like Julius Caesar would.

A 4-1 3rd set wins was achieved for Love's Labour's Lost

Result: A bad start left us high and dry.. Not a good result As You Like It... But we know we can play better..A good 3rd set performance shows All's Well That Ends Well
