What you need:

For the cookie dough:

    • 1/3 cup unsalted butter, softened
    • 1/4 cup sugar
    • 1/4 cup brown sugar
    • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    • 1/8 tsp. salt
    • 2 Tbsp. heavy cream
    • 1/2 cup flour

For the fudge:

    • 1/3 cup brown sugar
    • 1/3 cup unsalted butter
    • Pinch of salt
    • 1/3 cup heavy cream
    • 5 cups powdered sugar
    • 1 tsp. vanilla
    • 3/4 cup mini semisweet chocolate chips

Directions:

    1. Using parchment paper, line a 8-inch square dish with the ends hanging over the side.
    2. For the cookie dough, cream together butter and sugars until smooth and fluffy.
    3. Then add vanilla, salt, and heavy cream. Once combined add flour.
    4. For the fudge, heat butter, brown sugar, salt, and cream in a medium saucepan over low. Stir until sugar dissolves in melted butter.
    5. Take the saucepan off the heat and mix 1 cup of powdered sugar in at a time. Then add the vanilla.
    6. Mix in cookie dough and let sit until it cools slightly.
    7. Stir in chocolate chips and pour into a pan. Smooth out fudge batter evenly.
    8. Refrigerate for at least 3 to 4 hours. Cut into 1-inch squares. Keep refrigerated until eaten.
