Mathematics 10C

This course is an introductory course preparing students to enter the -1 and -2 sequences of high school mathematics.

Math 10C contains four Proctorio supervised assessments: 

• Unit 2/3 Test

• Unit 4/5/6 Test

• Unit 7/8 Test

• Final Exam

*To write a Proctorio supervised assessment students must have a computer or laptop with a microphone and a webcam. An external webcam on a stand is preferred as the camera view must show a student's hands, scrap paper, and calculator at all times during the assessment. 

The Final Exam must be written in order to receive credit for the course. 

Closure Deadlines (3pm MST):

• Assignment 2: July 3, 2026

• Assignment 3: July 7, 2026

• Unit 2/3 Test: July 9, 2026

• Assignment 4: July 10, 2026

• Assignment 5: July 14, 2026

• Assignment 6: July 16, 2026

• Unit 4/5/6 Test: July 20, 2026

• Assignment 7: July 21, 2026

• Assignment 8: July 23, 2026

• Unit 7/8 Test: July 27, 2026

• Final Exam: July 30, 2026

There are no exemptions or extensions to the closure deadlines.

Unit 1 - Measurement is optional and can be accessed after a student has completed the mandatory units. Students will not be assessed on the optional unit.

In order for a student to be successful in this course, VVS requires a minimum grade of 65% in Mathematics 9, or 70% in Mathematics 10-3, or 65% in Mathematics 20-3 or 30-3.
