Course Overview
Keep moving! Develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to lead an active, healthy lifestyle. In this course, you’ll participate in 70 hours of activity from four of the five dimensions of the PE curriculum:
Alternate Environments (outdoor activities)
Dance
Flexibility/Gymnastics
Games
Individual Activities
Students complete a minimum five hours in one or two activities of their choosing in each dimension. In addition to completing 70 hours of activity, you will be required to complete seven projects. Each project will take between 1 and 3 hours to complete and can be completed in any order and at any time throughout the course.

PE 30 Reflection
*In order to receive credit for Physical Education 30, students must complete 10 hours of volunteering. The volunteer placements must promote physical activity.
Supervision: For each dimension, you will need a completed 'Supervisor's Declaration'. Remember that 100% of your activities MUST be supervised by a person over the age of 18.
*Parental Supervision is allowed. Coaches, physical education teachers, fitness instructors, lifeguards, and competitive athletes are examples of people who also are fit to supervise.
In order for a student to be successful in this course, VVS requires a minimum of 50% in the prerequisite course.
