Course Overview and Materials
Explore the rich world of English Literatures. In this course, you will study and create various types of English text. Texts for the course include non-fiction, short stories, poetry, a Shakespearean play, a novel, a modern play, and film. This course is designed for students interested in pursuing university or college programs. You are required to use Proctorio remote supervision software for assessments in this class. You are not permitted to use Artificial Intelligence tools in any capacity in this course, including extensions such as Grammarly. In order for a student to be successful in this course, VVS requires a minimum of 65% in English 10-1 or a minimum of 70% in English 20-2.
You are responsible for providing your own copy of the film for study in Unit 7. VVS does not stock films.
