Health Services Foundations

In this course, students will examine the fundamental attitudes, knowledge, and skills necessary for further study in career pathways in health, recreation, and community services. Concepts studied include the determinants of health, the dimensions of wellness, as well as basic principles of anatomy, physiology, and disease. Students will also learn about basic safety and reporting protocols for providing care in health, recreation, volunteer, and community settings.
