Course Overview
General Music 10 is an online course that encourages students to express their love of music at a level consistent with previous experience. They will develop their understanding of musical conventions, practices, and terminology and will apply the elements of music to a range of creative and critical activities. This course has three parts: Basic Theory, Music Making, and Music in Communities.
Note: Students are required to find their own private instructor and participate in at least eight lessons as part of the course requirements. Students are welcome to study any melodic instruments, including voice, with the exception of drums. Please contact the teacher if you’d like further details about this.
