⚠️ Please review the prerequisite chart carefully. VVS requires minimum prerequisite course marks for admission. While 50% earns you course credit, VVS admission often requires a higher minimum mark in prerequisite subjects.
Proof of prerequisite completion will be requested at registration.
Prerequisite course marks must be on the Detailed Academic Report (DAR) in myPass by June 1, 2026.
VVS does not accept “In Progress” prerequisites or offer conditional acceptance.
Students transitioning from grade 9 to grade 10 may request courses that do not have prerequisites, such as: Career and Life Management (CALM), Physical Education 10, and Introductory CTS.

2025 Summer School Prerequisite Chart
International students must meet all prerequisite requirements prior to registration. During registration, students must upload their Detailed Academic Report (DAR) from myPass, a transcript, or an out-of-province report card. If a prerequisite course is in progress or does not meet the minimum mark requirement prior to registration, the request will be declined.
