Course Description
The English Language Arts (ELA) 30-1 Adult course is designed for adults who want to complete or upgrade their high school English requirements. This course satisfies all the criteria mandated by Alberta Education. There is a diploma exam. Texts for the course include short stories, non-fiction, Shakespeare, poetry, a novel, visuals, and a film. You are required to use Proctorio remote supervision software for assessments in this class. You are not permitted to use Artificial Intelligence tools in any capacity in this course, including extensions such as Grammarly.
