Course Overview
Take your French even further with French 30-3Y. This is the advanced, and the last, course in the three-year French as a Second Language program. Besides building further on your listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, you’ll also engage in a more in-depth study of today’s francophone world. By the end of this course, you should be able to communicate at an advanced level of everyday French using complete sentences about a variety of topics, such as employment, the environment, and technology.
Our French courses use two websites: Moodle and Vista Higher Learning (VHL). Lessons will include video tutorials or interactive activities followed by written or spoken assessments. There is a supervised midterm and final exam in this course.
In order for a student to be successful in this course, VVS recommends a minimum of 65% in the prerequisite course. If you have not completed this course, but have previous French language experience, you may contact us to request a placement exercise.
