Course Overview and Materials
This course is based on the NEW Alberta curriculum and is designed to provide students with opportunities to explore what it means to live in Alberta. Students will investigate Alberta's natural features, diverse people, identity, resources, government structure and civic action. The three units of study include:
Unit 1: Time and Place
Unit 2: Systems
Unit 3: Citizenship
PRIMARY STUDENTS: Materials are loaned at no cost, but must be returned at the end of the school year, or the student will be charged replacement costs.
ESA & INTERNATIONAL/OUT-OF-PROVINCE STUDENTS: Fees apply to required materials. Reusable loan materials have a refundable cautionary fee as per our Refund Policy.
