Course Overview and Materials
How do things move? And why? Find the answers to those questions as you learn about a variety of objects in motion, from bullets to planets to waves. In this course, you’ll focus on kinematics, dynamics, circular motion, and gravitational and mechanical waves. There are 4 supervised unit exams, a supervised midterm and a final exam in this course.

In order for a student to be successful in this course, VVS requires a minimum of 60% in Science 10. It is recommended that they also complete Math 10C (65+%) or co-register in/successfully complete Mathematics 20-1 or 20-2. If a student has not taken the prerequisite course, they are still responsible for ensuring they have the prerequisite knowledge. This course content assumes that a student has learned the topics covered in the prerequisite course. Prerequisite topics are not re-taught in this course.
