Dig even deeper into the world of chemistry as you explore fascinating topics like thermochemistry and how to find the heat of a reaction, electrochemistry including how batteries work, organic chemistry with an interest in fossil fuel reactions, and acids and bases equilibrium systems. There are 4 supervised Unit Tests and a supervised Final Exam in this course.
Both the course mark and diploma exam mark are required for a final mark to appear on your transcript.
In order for a student to be successful in this course, VVS requires a minimum of 65% in the prerequisite course. If a student has not taken the prerequisite course, they are still responsible for ensuring they have the prerequisite knowledge. This course content assumes that a student has learned the topics covered in the prerequisite course. Prerequisite topics are not re-taught in this course.
