Social Studies 1

Discovering the world! This course, based on the Alberta curriculum, will help students see themselves as part of the larger world. They’ll also explore how families and communities have changed over time. This courses focuses on four main topics:

• Where is My Community?

• My Community and Me

• Groups and Communities

• Stories about the Past

Materials for Grades 1-9 primary students: Materials are loaned at no cost, but must be returned at the end of the school year or the student will be charged replacement costs. 

Fees apply to Out-of-Province, International, and Educational Services Agreement (ESA) enrollments.
