Work Experience 15

Work Experience courses allow you to explore your career interests and gain valuable experience through your current job or volunteer work while earning credits. Plan to earn one credit for every 25 hours of work. Off-campus programming adheres to the summer school schedule. Hours worked July 1-31 can count toward your credits. 

In order for a student to be successful in this course, VVS requires a minimum of 50% in the prerequisite course. 

Vista Virtual School (VVS) has a flat rate to help you obtain the credits you need to graduate. Course tuition for adult enrollments is capped at $875 per school year (September to August) for up to 20 credits of Work Experience and Career Internship courses. The student also must complete the Workplace Safety Systems (1 credit) course prior to enrollment—the cost for that course is $175.
