Inconsistencies found between Bombora and our company data
Open the email which is automatically sent each morning. It looks like this:
Note that this report ONLY includes companies which were originally in the G, H or I categories (i.e.- G= 1,001-5,000 employees, H= 5,001-10,000 employees, I=10,000+ employees).
Also note what change was made on our site based on the Bombora data (old data vs new data). There are two fields which may have been changed (that this report tracks): The company size and the company industry.
Start with clicking on the company name, which will direct you to their edit page on our site. Once that window is open, also open the LinkedIn link for that company found in the email as well. NOTE: The LI link will direct to LinkedIn and perform an automatic search for that company name. However, the actual company LinkedIn page will not actually show up. For the most accurate information, it may be best to either go to the website or google the domain name to find the company site and from there find their LinkedIn page.
After comparing the data found on LinkedIn versus what is found on our site (in the company size and/or Industry fields) make any needed changes, or keep as is.
After ensuring that the data is correct, make sure to click the “Update Company” button to ensure data is saved. If needed, save the Bombora company name to our list of aliases.
Finally, open the Company/ISP data cleansing and management sheet and update the column “Inconsistencies found between Bombora - # companies updated” with the number of companies having had to be updated from that days report.
