Our leads are users most likely looking into purchasing a new tech product.
To become a lead on our site, users must download a free report from either a category, comparison, or product page. This will turn regular users into leads that we can sell to our customers.
PeerSpot is GDPR compliant and collects lead information through an obligatory opt-in; we only share users' info if they give us explicit permission. Leads opt-in from a landing page such as the 2023 Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) Report, where they check an opt-in checkbox ("I agree to my information being processed by PeerSpot and its Partners to contact me regarding products and services relevant to my professional interests. I agree to PeerSpot’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. I may unsubscribe at any time.")
While explicit double opt-in isn't a mandatory requirement in all regions, we ensure compliance and user consent through multiple valid methods. On our landing page forms, users must check a consent box, which is followed by a clear statement that they can unsubscribe at any time. Furthermore, once a user registers, we conduct phone verification via SMS, which the majority of our users complete. This SMS verification process serves as a form of double opt-in, confirming the user's intent. To maintain the integrity of this process, we do not send any marketing materials to the customer after they complete the SMS verification.
Premium Site Leads
We provide the following info for every lead:
First name, last name, email address, company, job title, business phone number, city, state, country, industry, and categories they were researching. Info we send if available (but isn’t always available): Products the lead was researching, secondary phone number.
The customer provides us with up to 4 questions along with a few multiple-choice answer options. We add this question to the categories which they would like to receive leads from.
When a lead clicks on the “Download Free Report” and downloads the initial report, they will be sent to a second landing page where the smarter question will be.
A lead who answers this question receives another more detailed report about the products/categories they are researching.
When a lead answers smarter questions, they show a much higher level of intent to buy a new product and, therefore are a much more valuable lead.
There can be no more than 4 smarter questions per category.
Only Tier 1 Strategic accounts can be offered this option.
PeerIntent Leads
Leads that are generated via affiliates. We provide the affiliates with a Buyer Intent (PeerIntent) report and the affiliates are instructed to prioritize leads from those companies. The leads will also come from the affiliate whitespace (their database).
Under the PeerIntent leads umbrella, sit 2 more types of programs:
BANT PeerIntent leads- The leads will need to have answered the 4 BANT* questions in order to qualify.
BANT Tele-Marketing leads- The leads will need to have held a phone conversation with an affiliate's representative, and on the phone call they will have answered the 4 BANT* questions in order to qualify.

Authority (which role do you have in the buying process?)
Need (are you in need of a new product?)
Timeline (What is your timeline for purchasing a new product?)
Signal Leads
Signal leads, synonymous with intent leads, differ because affiliates are not supplied with a buyer intent list from PeerSpot.com. Instead, affiliates use their own buyer intent while ensuring that the generated leads align with the campaign's specified filters.
Engagement Plus Leads (Aged Leads)
Leads generated on the PeerSpot platform before the program's initiation are delivered based on a joint decision between the customer and salesperson. The commencement timing is determined by the earliest lead the customer is willing to receive, considering the quantity of leads deliverable within that chosen timeframe.
When delivering leads to an engagement plus leads program (aged), on the M&P leads by campaign page, you need to tick the box titled "Do not allow duplicate leads even older than 6 months." This will ensure you don't deliver any leads the customer has already received.
