On the Set Filters tab, populate the necessary filter fields in order to receive the required estimate.
The fields to populate are as follows:
Company Size Filter- Select the relevant company sizes of the program.
Categories of Product- If the leads program is targeting leads who are interested in the categories of a specific product/s, select the product/s name/s from the dropdown list. If this field is being used, do not populate the field called "Category Name".
Category Name- If the field above is not populated, populate this field with the exact names of the categories for this program, as they are written on PeerSpot. Multiple categories can be pasted into the field at once. If 1 value is added, the name of the category will appear. Select the category name.
If more than 1 category are pasted into the field, the option "Add (number of categories added) distinct values" will appear. Select this option.
Make sure to select categories from the drop down list and not the search value that was typed in.
See example below, where "ep" was typed in the search box. Selecting "+ep" will tell Sigma to look for leads from the "ep" category. Since this category doesn't exist, all leads will be excluded and the estimate will show 0.
Always select rows that have a number at the end of it:
You can copy and paste multiple category names at once.
Before pasting the values into the Sigma estimator, make sure to select the option called "Add distinct values". In the following example, the 3 values that were pasted to the search box are available for selection by clicking on "Add 3 distinct values".
If the row that says "+ Application Security Tools..." is selected, Sigma will display results only for "Application Security Tools, Application Security Testing (AST), API Security" as one category, which doesn't exist, therefore all leads will be excluded and the result of the estimate will again show 0.
Region- If the program is focusing on specific regions, select them from the dropdown list.
Continent- If the program is focusing on specific continents, select them from the dropdown list.
Country Name- If the program includes specific countries from multiple regions/continents, either select them from the dropdown list or copy the country names and paste them into the field. If more than 1 country name is pasted into the field, the option "Add (number of countries added) distinct values" will appear. Select this option.
Smarter Leads (Tier 1 Strategic only)*- This is a required field, the default value will always be "Include". For smarter leads only programs, select the "Only" option. For site leads only programs, select the "Exclude" option.
Industry- If the program has an industry filter, select the relevant industries that the customer does want to receive leads from.
Vendor- Select the vendor of the program. Doing this will exclude leads from the vendor's company and its competitors. If "null" is selected, all vendor leads will be included.
Domain List- If the program has an ABM/TAL list, select the "Approved" option. If the program has a suppression list, select the "Suppressed" option.
Domain- Paste the domain values to this field. Only paste the domain, eg. peerspot.com and not https://www.peerspot.com. It is suggested to populate this field last, as it can take some time for this field to update.
If more than 1 domain name is pasted into the field, the option "Add (number of domains added) distinct values" will appear. Select this option.
When selecting the filters, the tool will load the results and a yellow load line will be seen.
Once the yellow load line disappears, click on "Go to Estimator".
You will be taken to the "Estimator" tab of the report, which will show the results of the estimate, based on historical trends.
