How to set up a Salesforce integration:
The vendor POC needs to create a user on PeerSpot.com, which is associated with their company.
Find the user ID of the vendor contact by searching on the user list here.
Make sure the vendor POC has an assigned restricted vendor. Authorize dashboard access for the user from their vendor dashboard:
4. Go to the relevant PeerIntent or Sponsored Comparison campaign page.
5. In the Intent Data Consumers section, enter the user ID in the User ID field. Select Add New Data Consumer by User ID.
6. Copy the Token (ex: 4Usw_C7WyygeWvmHzeJ2) and share it with the vendor contact via email.
Note:
Once a token is generated for a user, it will appear on all the PI and SC for that vendor. If they have multiple campaigns (One for PeerIntent and one for Sponsored Comparison), the integration only needs to be set up once.
The Salesforce integration is, in addition to all other delivery methods. If a vendor has 2 different PI/SC campaigns running simultaneously, they can have a separate delivery method.
Every existing integration has been migrated to use this new functionality (if you need to re-share the token for any reason, you can go to the campaign to copy it).
We've also added a Campaign Integrations section to PI and SC campaigns. This will be used for the upcoming 6Sense integration and others.
Once the integration is live, it considers the campaign dates, product, category, and possible other filters selected in the campaign. The integration will activate once the start date is reached and deactivate on the program’s end date, per the campaign.
Once the campaign is active (in terms of the start date of the campaign), the program will begin delivering the leads via the API.
The PeerSpot PeerIntent Salesforce app has a scheduler so the customer can decide when to receive the data and how far back the PeerSpot system should go.
