In the Integrate platform, there is the ability to create a list and connect it to a certain field. Having the list will ensure that only leads which have that specific field populated with one of the allowed values on the list assigned to that field will be accepted. The types of lists and their uses are as follows:
Domain lists consist of company domains (eg integrate.com) that you would like to either allow or exclude in your Campaign/Sources. A domain list is added to an email type field.
Domain lists are often used with an Account Based Marketing (ABM) or TAL to ensure that incoming leads are only accepted if they're from a company on the domain list that you're trying to target.
They can also be used to form an exclusion list as a way to exclude leads from competitors or companies that would not be a good fit for you (eg. military, education, non-profits).
To use a domain list, in the "Fields" section of the source and in the "Email Address" field, check the "Use domain list" box and if it's a suppression list, check the "Exclude" box which appears to the right.
Assign the domain list.
Wildcards:
In cases where multiple domains need to be addressed (such as .com, .net, .biz, .org), a wildcard can be used. For instance, “Coca-Cola.*” would include or exclude any domains associated with the term “Coca-Cola.”
It is possible to add wildcards to domain lists if you want to target a type of domain, such as .edu. The Integrate platform would then allow or exclude any email address containing .edu.
Wildcards are denoted with an asterisk (*).
You can also target multiple domains regardless of the suffix.
For example, if Integrate had multiple domains (eg. .com, .net, .biz, .org) you could wildcard integrate.* to allow or exclude any domains associated with Integrate.
The Target List is added to the Company field. When added, the source only accepts company names that match the entries in the Target List's allowed values.
Another option is to create a text field with text validation that can be used for inclusion or exclusion lists of company names.
Note that matches are based on the exact matching of the text.
Target lists contain company names and unique IDs that are targeted for selected campaigns and sources. Target lists are applied to List type fields as a pick list and can be applied to the text validation on a Text type field. These list types can be used for inclusion only.
Target lists are often used with an Account Based Marketing (ABM) strategy to ensure incoming leads are only accepted from a company or unique ID on the target list.
Target lists can be used when a Marketer has large quantities of data to load. Target Lists can be created via files up to 225 MB, approximately 5 million values. Using a target list instead of a general list minimizes performance issues.
Suppression lists are used on Campaigns/Sources to reject specific email addresses that you do not wish to send to your Marketing Automation or CRM system. A suppression list is added to an email type field.
To use a suppression list, in the "Fields" section of the source and in the "Email Address" field, check the "Suppression list" box and assign the suppression list.
General Lists
General-Type List has a size limitation of ~10k rows, can be added to any field and users can set allowed AND disallowed field values.
