Unbounce is a marketing tool designed to help businesses create, optimize, and manage landing pages without requiring extensive coding or development skills. It primarily focuses on converting visitors into leads, customers, or subscribers by offering an easy-to-use, drag-and-drop interface for creating high-conversion landing pages.
Updating an existing landing page in Unbounce is a straightforward process, thanks to its user-friendly drag-and-drop interface. Whether you need to update content, redesign elements, or improve the page's performance, the following step-by-step guide will walk you through how to edit an existing landing page in Unbounce.
Step: Visit unbounce.com and log in with your credentials.
Note: Once logged in, you will be directed to your Unbounce dashboard.
Step: On the Unbounce dashboard, click on the "Pages" tab on the left-hand menu.
Note: This will show all the landing pages you have previously created.
Step: Request an Unbounce file from the affiliate. Once received, upload it to Unbounce.
Note: The page name should have naming convention of lead code - Program name. Example: INT-FFA-AT-4976 - Dell EMEA SB DE
Step: Use the search bar at the top of the "Pages" section to find the specific landing page you want to update.
Note: If you have many landing pages, the search feature helps you locate the one you need quickly.
Step: Once you find the page, click on the "Edit" button (it looks like a pencil icon) next to the landing page title.
Note: This will take you to the Unbounce page builder, where you can make changes to the existing landing page.
Edit Text:
Step: Click on any text box to update or modify the content. You can change the font, size, color, or text alignment in the properties panel on the right.
Edit Images:
Step: To replace an image, click on the image, then choose "Change Image" from the properties panel on the right. You can also double click on an image to change it.
Edit Buttons:
Step: Click on any button to update its text, size, color, or the link it directs users to.
Edit Forms:
Step: To edit a form, click on it. You can add or remove form fields, update field labels, and change the destination for the form submissions.
Step: If you need to change the layout of the page, simply drag and drop elements (like text, images, and buttons) to rearrange them.
Note: You can also add new sections, adjust padding or margins, and modify the background.
Step: Click on the "Mobile" icon in the top menu to switch to the mobile view of your landing page.
Note: Ensure that the landing page is optimized for mobile devices by adjusting any misplaced or misaligned elements.
Step: Scroll to the bottom left of the editor and click "Page Properties."
Step: From here, you can update the page’s title, meta description, and other SEO-related fields.
Step: After making your changes, click the green "Save" button in the top-right corner.
Step: Once saved, click "Republish" to make the updated version live.
Note: Your changes will go live immediately after republishing.
Step: The page name must contain the lead code.
Example page name: INT-FFA-AT-4976 - Dell EMEA SB DE
Step: Update the domain name to learn.peerspot.com
Step: Update the URL to have the name of the asset that is being used in the landing page.
Step: Once your page is republished, test it by visiting the live page URL which is found on the Overview page. Ensure all changes are reflected and the page works as expected, including any links, forms, or integrations.
Note: It’s a good practice to test the page on both desktop and mobile devices.
Step: If you want to test the effectiveness of your changes, go to the "Variants" tab in the editor to create a new variant of the page.
Note: A/B testing allows you to compare different versions of your landing page to see which one performs better in terms of conversion rates.
