Open the source→ Integrations
2. Hover over the integration and click on the settings cog wheel.
3. Click on “TEST INTEGRATION”
4. Ensure that there are no irrelevant fields that the customer doesn’t need. If there is a field in the test lead’s information that the customer doesn’t need, the test lead will fail. Make sure to remove it or mark it as not required in the Source’s fields list and run the test again.
5. Click on “RUN TEST”.
6. A window called “Test Integration” should open. In the “Request” box, copy the email address like “test%40integrate.com”.
7. Email the customer and inform them that a test lead has been delivered. Provide them with the funny email address(test%40integrate.com) and ask them to confirm that the test lead was received correctly.
8. There should be an orange line in the progress bar under “Post Out Status” which represents the test lead/s that was sent.
Underneath the progress bar, there should be an orange dot with “Testing” near it. The number in parentheses will show the number of leads sent to the customer as test leads.
NOTE:
When needing to send multiple test leads to the same customer:
Make sure that each lead has unique information. For example, the first test lead’s first name should be Test, last name Test, email address test@integrate.com
The second test lead’s first name should be Test1, last name Test1, email test1@integrate.com
The third test lead’s first name should be Test2, last name Test2, email test2@integrate.com and so on.
This way the customer can differentiate between the test leads we’ve sent them.
