Some vendors request to receive their CSVs by SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol). SFTP is a method of delivering the same reports that are sent via email. They provide the credentials and we (PeerSpot) push the files over to them.
How it works:
If the customer is requesting SFTP they should know what is needed to provide us with in order to set this up.
To set up a SFTP, the CSM asks the client to provide the SFTP credentials where they would like to receive the reports.
They then need to create a card on the R&D board with these credentials, plus which vendor they are for. They will tag the Delivery Manager so that the DM is aware of this request.
Once the CSM is notified that the card is completed, they will notify the Delivery Manager who will see on all the vendor's PI/SC campaign edit pages the ability to select SFTP credentials. These credentials need to be selected and then the campaign needs to be saved by the DM.
Whenever an email delivery is scheduled to go out (a frequency is specified on the campaign), if there are SFTP credentials provided, the CSV will be sent to the customer via this method.
