The process below is the standard rejection process
Hubspot Listing Request Process
Vendor already listed on PeerSpot
Log into HubSpot.
Click on the dropdown titled “Contacts” and click on the option “Lists”.
If not already selected, make sure the option “folders” is selected and not “lists”.
Select the folder titled “Listings” and then the list titled “Listing Requests”. You will see a page that looks like this:
The list is arranged as most recent at the top. Click on one of the names listed.
On the left hand side of the window there will be all the information the vendor has shared with us. If you scroll down a bit, you will see a field with a custom message from the vendor. Read the message from the contact (highlighted in the red box below):
Sometimes, the vendor will inform us that they saw their product on our site and would like to claim their product. They will ask how they can do that. This is discussed in the Vendor already listed on PeerSpot process. However, most of the time, the client will include a message similar to this one, in which they ask for their product to be listed on our site.
The next step is to search our site (both via the search function and via the Manage Vendors page) for the vendor's name. If the vendor is found to already be on our site, please refer to the Vendor already listed on PeerSpot process.
If the vendor is not found on our site, then we need to research the vendor to ensure they meet our minimum qualifications to be listed.
Included in the information the vendor sends us, is a link to their LinkedIn page (as noted in the red box below): Click on the link to the LinkedIn page.
You will automatically be directed to the Vendors LinkedIn Page. Once taken to the page, click on the “About” tab to learn more about the Vendor.
The most common reason we reject a vendor from being listed is because their company does not meet the minimum criteria for being listed- a minimum of 50 employees on LinkedIn. This informs us that the company is large enough to support potential enterprise clients who would like to use their product. If the company has less than 50 employees on LinkedIn, we will reject their application.
In order to send the vendor a rejection email, click on the email icon (
) and send the following message (rejection template):
Subject: Your PeerSpot listing request
Body:
Hi _____,
We’re always happy to consider adding products and services that are not currently listed on PeerSpot.
In order to be added to our site, solutions must be used by at least 10 enterprise customers (we define an enterprise as an organization with 1,000+ employees or $250M+ revenues) and the vendor must have at least 50 employees listed on LinkedIn. These criteria are important for enterprise buyers who are looking for customer-proven solutions within the enterprise market.
I understand that your solution doesn't currently meet our criteria. As your company grows in the future, please don't hesitate to contact us once you meet our listing requirements.
Best,
Another reason we will reject a vendor is if they don't meet the other criteria mentioned in the above email. If the vendor does not have at least 10 enterprise customers (as defined above: an organization with 1,000+ employees or $250M+ revenue). The easiest way to determine this is by first looking at the information given to us by the vendor in HubSpot. You will notice a field titled “Sample of paying enterprise customers?”.
Often-times, the vendor might leave this blank- which might be an indication that they do not meet this requirement. However, other times they will have a few companies listed- that is a promising sign. Usually, a vendor will post the logos of enterprise customers who use their product on their website. This is another way to determine if the vendor meets that requirement. The first step to determine this is to visit their site (which should be linked from their LinkedIn page). If the vendor does not meet that requirement, the same email as above is sent to the vendor.
If however, the vendor does meet this requirement, please see the Vendor Meets Criteria process.
The final step in this process is to change the “Approved For Listing” field to “No”.
This process is for a vendor who either reaches out because they want to claim their product which they found on our site, or for a vendor who reaches out and we find they already appear on our site.
After confirming that that they appear on our site, click on the email icon
() and send one of the following two messages:
If the vendor reached out after having seen their product on our site:
Subject: Your Product on PeerSpot
Dear _______,
Thank you for reaching out! Here's a link to your product page: https://www.peerspot.com/products/raven360-reviews
You and your team can edit your product listing by following these steps:

Visit your vendor dashboard: https://www.peerspot.com/vendor_dashboards/raven360/edit
Edit your content and remember to hit the 'Save Profile' button when you're done.
If the vendor reached out and we discovered that they already appeared on our site:
Subject: Your Product on PeerSpot
Dear _______,
Thank you for reaching out! We noticed that Raven360 is already found on PeerSpot (formerly IT Central Station). Here's a link to your product page: https://www.peerspot.com/products/raven360-reviews
You and your team can edit your product listing by following these steps:
Register or sign in to peerspot.com using LinkedIn sign-on or your company email address.
Visit your vendor dashboard: https://www.peerspot.com/vendor_dashboards/raven360/edit
Edit your content and remember to hit the 'Save Profile' button when you're done.
IMPT: Change the highlighted fields as needed!
After the proper email has been sent, change the “Approved for Listing” field as needed.
If through doing research, you find that the vendor does not meet sales criteria, change to “Yes, doesnt meet sales criteria ''.
If they do meet the sales criteria, change to “Yes, meets sales criteria”.
If it is determined that a vendor meets the criteria for being listed on our site (after following the process Hubspot Listing Request Process) we will let them know that their listing is in progress (and start the process for listing them)!
Click on the email ico
n () and send the following email message to the vendor:
Subject: Your product listing request with PeerSpot
Body:
Hi ______,
This is to let you know that we've received your product listing request and are working on listing your product on our platform!
We will notify you when your product page is live.
Best Regards,
After this email has been sent to the vendor, change the “Approved For Listing” field to “Listing In Progress
”.
Finally, go to the Vendor/Product Creation sheet and add all relevant information on the next blank row- under the red line.
We usually create new vendors weekly. Once the new vendors and their product is live on our site, we will need to update their status in HubSpot. Go back to the Listings page by logging into HubSpot.
Click on the dropdown titled “Contacts” and click on the option “Lists
”.
If not already selected, make sure the option “folders” is selected and not “lists
”.
Select the folder titled “Listings” and then the list titled “Approved for listing = Listing in Progress”. This will contain all vendors who have been approved and are waiting for their page to go live on our site. Once the page has been created (and confirmed internally that all looks OK) change the status of the “Approved For Listing” field to “Yes, meets sales criteria”.
There are times when we would create a vendor page based on HubSpot- but they will still not meet the requirements to be passed to the Sales Team. In those cases, we will deliver the email to the vendor after the page is live, with all the login information. The email should look like this:
Subject: Your listing on PeerSpot!
Body:

After the email has been sent, you would change the “Approved for Listing” field to “Yes, Doesn’t meet Sales criteria”.
It's not required, but a good idea to add a note to the listing request reminding you that it has been listed and approved for sales. To add a note, click on the note icon and save the note
