Word Study:
Find and make a list of 3 nouns (person, place, or thing) at your house, inside or outside. Write down as many adjectives (describing words) as you can for each noun. Send your list to your teacher!
Example: Noun: couch...Adjectives: enormous, comfy, spacious, tan, soft

Today in writing we are going to begin drafting our first chapter by writing our facts with details. Yesterday you watched a video on the ways you can add details. Today you will try to do this for your first chapter.
When nonfiction writers make their chapters, they do more than just include facts. They talk long about their topic by providing examples, giving definitions, making comparisons, using adjectives, and using adverbs.
This lesson will be continued Monday. So start your first chapter, but do not worry about finishing it, you will finish this chapter Monday.

Remember to move the ruler, place it under the object and start at zero to measure the objects.
Science: Plant Study
Today you will learn about the plant’s highway which is called the stem. In Epic read a book called, ‘Exploring Stems” by Kristen Sterling.
When you finish reading, explain to someone at home how the stem is like a straw.
