Activity: In your reading notebook, describe Big Anthony. Draw a picture and write about his internal (personality) and external (what he looks like) traits.

After, write about whether or not you would be friends with him? Explain why.

Writing:

Lesson: Writers edit their final opinion pieces.

Writers go back into their opinion pieces and make changes. Writers check to make sure they use capitalization for proper nouns and beginning of each sentence, have their sentences in the correct order, use punctuation to end each sentence, and spell words to the best of their abilities.
