Fundations:

Fundations letter cards: practice all the letters saying the letter, keyword(picture), sound using the cards you created

Vowel Extension chart: practice extending the short vowel sound

Using letter cards:

spread all the letter cards out on table, letter side up
place them alphabetically in order- make sure your rows look like the picture below
Dictating words- Watch the video with Ms. Domingues. Listen to Ms. Domingues dictate the word, then tap it and build it.

**Bonus: Choose 4 more words from the list to build and read on your own!**

Writing: Opinion Writing

Lesson 9: Starting new writing by drawing a picture first.
On a new sheet of writing paper, draw, label and color a picture of your new opinion writing.

**Sometimes writers get more ideas when they start with a picture. **

Mrs. Kapp started a new piece by drawing her picture first. If you are ready to start a new piece draw the picture OR continue with your previous writing.

Find all the addition sentences that add to 6.
Draw a model using counters for each sentence.

Start with 6 + 0 = 6
