Fundations:

Fundations letter board: practice all the letters saying the letter, keyword(picture), sound

Vowel Extension chart: practice extending the short vowel sound

Make letter cards: On any paper you have, create the letter cards we use in Fundations.

  • ONLY letters m to z

  • write lowercase letter on the front and draw keyword picture on back card- see pictures below

  • make vowels red- this can be done using red marker, red paper, coloring the background red, etc

  • it is optional to put the consonants on yellow paper

  • Note: Keep the cards in a bag in a special place as we will use these weekly

These are the examples please ONLY CHOOSE 1 to replicate

same activity as yesterday- just with the letters m-z

**please make sure the vowels are pink or red**

  • Lesson 6: Draw and label your opinion piece

  • Draw a picture that matches your words

  • Label your picture (remember to stretch your words as best as you can)

Draw counters to represent pictures in word problems.

- Three turtles were in a pond. Five turtles joined them. How many turtles are there in all?

-I picked two pears from a tree. Then I picked 8 more. How many pears do I have in my basket now?

Social Studies: Community Helpers

  • Create a “Thank you” sign for your favorite community helper.

  • Share on class Flipgrid.

  • Hangup in a window along with the drawing you made of them last week and the building they work in.
