Activity: In your reading notebook, write a letter to your class explaining why you would like to be President of the class. Be sure to include what you would do and reasons why would want to be president.

Writing:

Resource: "If you could take vacation to any place in the world, where would you go? Why."

Lesson: Writers take their "Writing Plan" paper and turn it into an opinion piece.

Writers will take their plan they completed the day prior and write an opinion piece. The piece will be written in the same order as the writing plan. Writers can add examples or write longer than what was included in the plan if they wish to.

Angles are located at the vertex /vertices. Have your child circle them so they can identify them easily.

Science:

Students will take what they have learned about plants and create a plant flip book. Please follow the directions on how to assemble the book. The students are expected to draw and write about each category. The directions and papers can be found in the paper packet that was sent home.
