Fundations:

Fundations letter board: practice all the letters saying the letter, keyword(picture), sound

Vowel Extension chart: practice extending the short vowel sound

Rhyming words: Look around your house for objects that rhyme

• Example: clock and sock

Take a picture and post it on your child's Flipgrid or email it to your child's teacher.

Reading: Act as a character from one of your Raz-Kids books

After exploring, read independently for 15 minutes in a special place. Please read 1/2 books from Raz-Kids (answer comprehension questions following the story) and then you may read from your book baggie, Epic, or choose any books you have at home. Think about the story as you are reading and then act like the character from one of your books.

• Write 2 to 4 reasons why it is your opinion (use your brainstorming sheet from yesterday)

• The pictures down below are examples of how to organize your ideas. You can choose from one of these!!!! Do not do all three. THEY ARE ALL THE SAME!!! The last picture is a graphic organizer that more than 2 reasons.

I choose swimming for my opinion piece. I then thought of 2 or more reasons WHY I think swimming is the best sport.
