Yesterday, we worked on stopping and jotting down notes while we read. This is such an important thing to do to help us understand our books better. Another thing you can do to help you when you aren’t sure about something is to jot down questions while you’re reading. We talked about this yesterday but today, we are going to dive deeper into asking and answering questions. Watch the video below to see how I use words like who, what, where, when, why, and how to write good questions.
Try to jot down some questions and see if you can answer any of them. Write down the answers on the same post it or page next to that question.
Today’s writing lesson is all about learning more about reviews.
Please watch the video for a lesson on how to complete this activity:

First, go on your Epic account and read the book “How To Write A Review” by Cecilia Minden and Kate Roth.
Then, jot down a list of 8- 10 books that are your favorite books! You can do this in your reader’s notebook or on any piece of paper. Keep this list in a safe place, you’ll need it for future writing lessons!
**** Here is an optional activity that goes with the book: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Z41JuoGY80WD1_x6dg-wn9Bo58yzoe6d/view?usp=sharing
