Fiction -- Fables:
Watch: Why Mosquitos Buzz in People's Ears
Activity: In your reading notebook create a short fable of your own. It should include
-characters that are animals
-a setting that is outside
-a conflict/problem and solution
-a hero/villain (if possible)
-a moral or lesson
*All writing resources will be found in the paper packet.
Resource: "I have... Who has ... Fact & Opinion"
Lesson: Writers know the difference between facts and opinion.
Cut out the cards for the "I have... Who has..." game. Shuffle the cards and play with a family member. If you are playing alone, you can simply sort the cards in order to complete the activity. The directions are attached to game.
